I think this is great as all of the announcements seem to get too many non status pax not understanding what is going on trapped in the mix.

At least AC is much stricter these days about checking the BP's of the hordes of those pretending not to understand the boarding sequence. With Executive First the only time I'm that concerned about getting on early is on the 333 or if I'm stuck in row 1 when I know when I get on there will be no overhead space left because it will be stuffed with the crew's bags.
