Also, there are now three mystery vehicles!
  • LSAR (Luxury, Sports Car, Automatic, Air) - Cadillac CTS?
  • FTAR (Full-Size, Convertible, Automatic, Air) - ???
  • LBAR (Luxury, 2-3 Door, Automatic, Air) - ???

The mystery vehicles are labled "or Similar" when making reservations; I saw them available when making a booking at LAS.

Nice updates. I'm doing a rental out of LIH soon and the list is VERY short. There used to be the Camry as part of the 'green collection' which was model-reservable, along with the Corolla I think, which is no longer there. The CTS like you pointed out is no longer model-reservable. The only Prestige car they have is the Escalade. I guess a shorter list is less complicated for Average Joe, but I liked the more detailed reservations!

Rates are sky high: $49/day for a full size. Premium was expensive when I booked, then went to unavailable, and came back recently at $51.50/day which I opted to switch to. Figured $2.50/day was worth it to roll the dice and see if I can get a nicer car. Looks like they have a lot of Arcadia SLT-1s which are pretty big but fully loaded which would be neat if they'll upgrade me to an SUV.

LIH is pretty boring. I did see a CTS when I rented in 2010 though. OGG had a few X5s and 3-series BMWs which was interesting. Anyway. We'll see what I get. I'd settle for a Camry, preferably a 2012.
