I think Hertz still has plenty of Town Cars. They wanted to put me in one in DTW. However I was not able to book that class, it showed as booked out no matter what date I put in. When I was in CVG last September they told me they have received that week a bunch of brand new town cars. I would expect a Town Car. But please report back what you actually got.
Arrived in Miami yesterday, had booked LCAR and was hoping for a DTS. After being offered a lot of upgrades for a lot of more money I ended up getting a Infinity FX35 with a sunroof and a NL and some other gadgets. Upgrade (I guess its an upgrade??) was free.
Very nice staff at Hertz also. Very nice!

In the Gold Choice aisle at LAX late this afternoon there was a brand new 2013 Hyundai Elantra w/ XM. I choose that over the Nissan Altima I was assigned even though the Hyandai is a Class C and I had an F reservation. The Elantra is much nicer than the Altima except no power seats (everything else is power).

Was in ABQ last weekend. Booked F (full was only $9 more ai over economy for a 3 day weekend rental--ABQ have alot of taxes!!

A Malibu was in my spot and we don't care for Malibu's too much. Especially if we book F and we are 5 Star. Only a Corolla in Gold Choice. Went inside, lady was very nice. Gave us other choices like Ford Escape, then Impala. Since we were doing some serious highway driving, we chose the Impala.
Impala had 1200 miles on it, a LTZ with all goodies including working Sirius. ^ Wife liked the heated seats. Nice lite color with the hot weather.
Got a nice deal with the $10/day off AA coupon. Only $44 ai for 3 weekend days!

Suprised they went with Supercars. When they did the research dicussions/Polls a couple a months ago. Most members liked Exotic collection for the name of the new car collection.
They also talked about adding a Audi Sypder looked about same as lambo. Don't remember Hertz talking about adding a Bently to this group of cars.

Wow. And when you compare UK prices to US prices in the US the selection is much smaller and the prices are much higher.

LSAR is now listed as the Mercedes Benz E63. It showed up when I was booking for SEA. But just like the Porsche Panamera, it isn't available until March 2013. It gave me a $115/day rate.

Rates are sky high: $49/day for a full size. Premium was expensive when I booked, then went to unavailable, and came back recently at $51.50/day which I opted to switch to. Figured $2.50/day was worth it to roll the dice and see if I can get a nicer car. Looks like they have a lot of Arcadia SLT-1s which are pretty big but fully loaded which would be neat if they'll upgrade me to an SUV.
LIH is pretty boring. I did see a CTS when I rented in 2010 though. OGG had a few X5s and 3-series BMWs which was interesting. Anyway. We'll see what I get. I'd settle for a Camry, preferably a 2012.
