This is a service industry in which employees and customers are both vital to its survival. If neither of these groups are privy to the plan it could mean that they don't have enough confidence in whatever they have tried to share it with us, there is no plan at all, or it's all about SMI/J and his bonus.
I've never worked at a company in the service industry where we shared our operating plans or strategies with our customers.
