She wanted me to show a red united red carpet club membership card with a star alliance logo. But all I had was a blue united mileageplus club card, which does not have a star alliance logo on it.
I got the actual UC membership card a few weeks after the credit card showed up. At least the UC knew I was a member from my UA boarding passes in the interimn, but I imagine that could be an issue too in some cases.
It should come soon hopefully, and thanks for reminding me I need to put the membership card in my travel bag just in case I need it at someplace like an LH lounge.
