Agreed. My family has 3 UA MP accounts all of which received the email. Our last paid UA flight was over six years ago. We still use our MP accounts for * mile accumulation (and redemption). However until UA offers competitive fares and service that is all they will see. Not holding out much hope for that, even though I have fond UA memories for about 20 years from 1988 (and some nice CO ones from back in the 70's) but all that was before.
