Not sure how bad it is now.

Would this be a bad idea?

Anybody know if Myanmar embassy would be open?

Never been to DC before.
Here is the tally of places within the District still w/o power as of 9:45 am today, according to the city emergency management folks:

•19,070 residential/business establishments
•0 health facilities (nursing facilities, hospitals, and community clinics)
•0 Federal government buildings
•57 traffic signals
•9 public schools

I agree w/You want to go where?'s advice about contacting the Embassy directly to ensure they have power and are open.
