SQ rebooking/fare difference - can't take payment over the phone?
I'm curious as I've never experienced this before... flying SQ LAX-NRT and changing the date on a Flexi Saver ticket that was booked on singaporeair.com
The phone representative told me that he was unable to take payment (for a fare difference) over the phone, and that someone from SQ would call me in the next 24 to 72 hours to take my credit card information.
Is that fairly standard?
