If you mean what would you tell Citi, any number of things.
1) I want to have multiple credit cards to separate different types of expenses.
2) I want one to be a primary card and one as a backup.
3) One is a Visa/MC/Amex, and the other is a Visa/MC/Amex and I want to have different cards because not all cards are accepted everywhere.
4) I want to add authorized users and want to keep them on a separate card.
Etc. Etc. Etc.
