Saw some decent prices in August so thinking of going for a few days..

A couple of Q's (sorry I haven't read the whole thread and anyway things may have changed)

-> what are the beaches like nearby? How far are they by car?

-> what is parking like? Free self parking?

-> has plat recognition improved? Is it better to e mail them first?
