nabco, what's with the attitude?

The OP asked a question & got a # of accurate responses. You had a different experience, but as others have mentioned, that's due to luck & not due to Marriott policy.

Being sarcastic when they pointed out there could be possible repercussions wasn't really needed. You're correct that the odds of Marriott checking are probably slim, but they're correct that Marriott could & you (or others) wouldn't have a lot of recourse if they took corrective action.

Of course the upside to the topic going off-topic is now people know what the T&Cs are
