Can I cancel the cards when I recieve the monthly bill stating I owe the annual fee? or is this too late to avoid the fee. Yes, the statement will say you have 30 days after receiving to cancel and receive a credit for the annual fee.
It is extremely likely that on the Visa they will give you a statement credit to keep the card open.
