The terms and conditions allow them to terminate the relationship for any reason. When I called and asked what their reason was, they said they didn't have one, but were allowed to terminate for any reason.

Even if that argument passes muster, 1) I didn't receive notice of their terms until after opening the account, and 2) that's just not fair. It seems unconscionable to allow an offeror to wait until the offeree has substantially complied with the terms of an offer, only to then decide whether it's worth it to carry on with the deal.
