Overnight transit at DEL
Needed to visit family on short notice (mid June) and the most affordable option was ORD-HKG-BKK-DEL. Will reach DEL in the evening by Cathay Pacific, missing the last flight to LKO, so need to overnight at/near airport for the morning flight.

Two questions -

(1) I would be grateful for ideas/advice on where to spend the night. Is the airport hotel operational? Would it be better to go to a nearby hotel? Would like to keep it inexpensive - as long as the air-conditioning works.

(2) Which domestic carrier is reliable these days? The options are Jet Konnect, Jet Airways, Air India, and Indigo.
