Called DL and the agent indicated that flight is actually oversold...given what I've read, it seems likely that Y3 will become Y0 at T-3 and I'll be unable to SDC. Is that correct?
2. Unlikely scenario BUT...In the event I cannot SDC to the earlier flight and can VDB the later flight, I'd get back home Friday morning, AFTER another scheduled DL flight (ATL-LGA). Will DL accommodate me on this flight as well if it's my VDB on the evening flight that caused me to miss it?
Thanks all!
Facts:
* Your current schedule: CAK-ATL (late Thurs), ATL-LGA (early Fri)
Desires:
* You would like to get to ATL earlier on Thurs, thus the desire to SDC to earlier CAK-ATL flight
* If you can't SDC on earlier CAK-ATL, then you desire to VDB from late CAK-ATL and spend the night in CAK.
* If you do take VDB, then you will miss your Fri ATL-LGA, thus you desire DL to route you CAK-?-LGA.
Did I get that right?
