Whatever the issue, hopefully they get it figured out. I didnt get to experience the place before it closed, and it is on my must stay list. Monty Brown. He was at Hotel Bora Bora for around 27 years, starting there as a barman and ending up as GM under Aman. Happily, Aman is totally uncompromising, so if there is a delay, it is invariably for a good reason. And yes, it is not a dirt road behind the resort - it is concreted.
Potentially, this is a wondrous place, but it needs stacks of money spent. Keeping everything crossed.
