I have been to LM lounge about six times and it was always like you described, lackluster. It is one plus over W which does not have a lounge, but not a valuable one.
The rooms are nice, but outside the room, hallways and lobby have a very cold and lonely feeling. The lobby does not have any seats, just an overall cold and lonely place.
I agree as well about the lounge at the LM.. plus the fact that the opening hours are like from 10am, doesn't really help me.. wish they opened for breakfast as well... but I quite like the selection of magazines they have there, plus the lounge receptionist is very good at helping me make recommendations and reservations for dinners, etc.. This is a big plus for me since I have found the conceirge at the W absolutely useless...
