If you are on VA flight LAX-Australia you can use the "temporary" VA lounge in the old Alaska airlines board room. It is, by all reports, totally rubbish as it currently has no liquor license among other issues. I have no idea how long this situation will last but it is free.

IF you are talking about travelling via LAX on a VX service there is no lounge access at all.
