Well, I just got asked to be in LAX for a few days in the early half of that week. Checking into a Marriott hotel on Monday, and out on Thursday morning. I'm then heading to meet her in TPA
Thus, our Wednesday night stay will overlap.
Will we have any issues with Marriott regarding this?
As far as getting the rooms, presuming wife has your last name, probably no problem, but might be wise to call and have her name added so she can check in without you there. Benefits will probably be granted (does she have any status of her own?).
Slight chance they will deny points/credit for both properties for Wednesday night, but most likely it will not get caught by either property. If it does, a call to MR should get it resolved.
Ideally, I'd suggest booking the first night in TPA under her name so there is absolutely no problem with her arrival and ask the FDC to carry over the room on your rez when you arrive Thursday.
