I'm fairly sure that both Hawaian and Thai use NAIA terminal 1. This place is a dump. I've never tried connecting there so can't say whether it's possible to stay airside. You really want to if you can as both immigration and baggage claim can be very slow. But it's such a crummy place that I'd be a bit surprised if there was such a facility. Don't expect much.
I did once connect between Thai and PAL but that involved a problematic landside transit from NAIA1 to NAIA2. Thai didn't interline with PAL. I wonder whether they do with HA?
