Wait in line at office for help
Find a cab
Traffic (up to 1 hour)
Enter airport (need printout of flight reservation)
X-ray to enter airport
Pay departure tax
Immigration
Security
I would allow a minimum of 6 hours to do the above. And, if I am not mistaken, HA arrives in the late afternoon so the chances of the office being open when you arrive early evening are slim.
Hope that helps.
Thanks for the replies, very helpful. I am still stunned by this revelation, but we shall adjust to it by doing an overnight stay. Was not planning on it but c'est la vie. I will arrange a CX flight to leave in mid afternoon the following day and go to AA's office on the way to the airport. Curious on another thing, its cash only or do they accept credit cards? In this day and age, I hope they do (but likely won't...)
