We stayed at the Grand last summer and were happy. Location good, and restaurant very good. There are a number of good restaurants in Stockholm now if you are a foodie. We worked with the concierge in advance via email and he did a very good job.
Make sure you have a harbor view renovated or new wing room. We were in a suite in the new wing with a big beautiful curved window with a harbor view. Layout of room was a bit odd, but had modern large bathroom, and had been fairly recently done up so was fine. Hotel not my favorite but we had a nice time and ended up with a very nice room, and some great meals.
