Many PMCO flights did come into terminal C but the OP is on LH so he is likely to come into Terminal B. He has has to be aware that many UA Express flights and some UA flights do operate out of Terminal A. Better to re-book now and avoid the aggravation that trying to do it in an hour will create with customs, etc
He is definitely arriving at Terminal B (since that is the only non-PMCO facility with customs at EWR), and I agree he/she should re-book, but, honestly whether his UA connection leaves out of Terminal A or C doesn't make a huge different either way in terms of the time needed to get from one point to another.
