+1 and if you can find one off the threads with the good sign up bonuses all the better. I would wait 30+ days between Chase apps. Credit cards don't really hurt your credit score. It will drop 5-8 points after a app. but it will come back in 30 days. Also with a higher amount of credit your utilization should go down(unless you spend more) and more often you end up with a better credit score. Also having a car and or house loan helps. They look at more than just credit cards. Sign up with Credit Karma to keep track of it.
