Transfer security at MAN
Arriving at T3 from America, connecting to an intl. flight from T1. Looking at the FAQ on the Official manchesterairport site, it explains going through the Flight Transfer Centre with its security check. 'Security check' is explained as allowing no liquids (with the known exceptions and qualifications). However, the FAQ then says
> Duty free purchases need to be in a plastic bag sealed by the retailer
> that has not been tampered with.
Does this also then apply to duty-free liquids?
Several years ago, in Europe but not the UK, I had a very nice single malt confiscated under similar circumstances. Don't want to take the risk again.
cheers,
