I agree with IM4Travel. I was with AT&T for the past 7 years (BTW - I only paid 5 cents per minute 24 hours a day - 16 cents is ridiculous - call and change this). Anyway, although I called, wrote, faxed, etc. AT&T I never once received any Starwood points. Nor (when they were advertising them) did I ever receive any Marriott Rewards points. Finally, last week I switched to MCI (again, 5 cents a minute). It's not worth it to me to spend time trying to track down what they say they're going to give you and then they don't.
The funny thing is that 3 days after I switched, AT&T called me offering me a "great deal" on my long distance. . .seems like they're more willing to be nice to customers once they lose them!
