I called AT&T and asked about the Starwood promotion extension. The Rep. "Penny" told me that I will get 2500 starpoints after the first, third and sixth bill and one point per dollar spent. The deal is $5.95 per month and 7 cents per minute. If you use them for your local toll calls you get $2.00 per month off the monthly fee so it becomes $3.95/month. She said she did not need my starwood number to credit my points, I don't know how they do that. I signed up and will report later how it worked out.
