Usually an airline-initiated change (a schedule change, bad weather, etc) gives you one opportunity to request they do something different for you. My suggestion is to ignore the schedule change notifiction until you know what you'd like them to do. If you call now and say the change is okay, you'll have trouble if you call back later and say now it's no good.
You'll do yourself and them a favor to pretend you didn't get the notification at this point, and then call them as soon as you know what you want.
