What sets of proof did they require? Usually of you use your name as the company and say it is run from your home you have a good shot at being approved. But biz cards are riskier If you don't actually own a biz.
I know tons of anecdotes of ppl with small or no biopsies es being Approved for both biz CC 's.
But the Ink Bold is not necessarily a must apply if you already have the Freedom and then get the Sapphire Preferred and you can transfer you balance Freedom balance to UR and have a nice large hoard of Points.
From what I remember, Citi wanted 2 proof that business exist : either(document of incorp. partnership, LLC, state or city business certificates etc,
Also, utility bill with business name and address. and something else that I can't recall. Yes, they were very strict and didn't accept my say so that I do this freelance at spare time at home.
Wanted to get the facts from people who have tried so don't waste another unnecessary credit pull.
BTW:I wanted to apply for INK because I was going for the 50k bonus sign on offer.
