2 Capital One Platinum Cards (Several years old)
Discover Cash Back Card (5 years old)
Chase Freedom Cash Back (2 months old)
My credit is 740 as we speak. I am just looking for quickest way to drum up miles so I can get away as much as possible, including overseas. Want to travel a lot with my wife. I live close to Hartford, CT airport which carries Delta, Southwest and US Airways. What is the best way for me to do this?
Anyone?
Welcome to Flyertalk!
If you are looking for domestic go with the 50k Southwest. If you are looking to travel internationally go after the 50k Sapphire Preferred. Rumors has it that the bonus is going down to 40k April 1. I would only go after 1 Chase card, since your last Chase app was 2 months ago. But if possible have the wife sign up for the same cards as you. If meeting minimum spends is a issue you can stagger your household apps.
Also, since US Airways flys out of your hub apply for the 40k US Airways Card from Barclays. This card is "churnable" in the truest meaning.
I hope this helps and best of luck.
