Contrary to what is mentioned in Mileslink, there is a better offer - which is to open a Radisson account and through them buy magazines from valuemag (and not skip the other Web sites as mentioned in mileslink). This works out to about 0.88 cents (and is even less if you use a coupon), easily beating the 1.5 cents offer from Milespy.</font>
IMHO, "direct" Valuemags purchase was not the best deal in 2001 either. Buying gift certificates (valid at 300+ merchants) from Hallmark.com (see
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum91/HTML/000154.html , many thanks to
fscher for disccovering, testing and reporting this opportunity) generates FF miles at many airline programs of your choice (through GoldPoints) at the
net rate of about 3,000 miles per $ (95 cents service charge for a $100 e-certificate)! You do have to prepay some of your shopping for some future period of time, but with such merchants as Target, JC Penney, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, etc., participating, you will spend money there anyway.
