Since I was not invited in moremiles, I do not know what goes there. But a lot of new ideas and tips in FT come from infrequent posters and non-oldtimers. For example in the Northwest forum
szerfam, registered Oct 2000 with 17 postings to date, broke the news of the 10K promotion, and this thread has had 288 responses so far. In addition, Randy was able to invite a Northwest rep
wp to the board who has helped countless number of people with this promotion. This is not a "nusiance(sic) and laughing stock" as NJDavid falsely claims.
A closed loop group of small number of people is going to have to rely on other forums like FlyerTalk for tips. Nor would they have company reps. Nor would they be able to help a newcomer with a FF question, as often happens in FT.
