One has to choose one
or the other? No. I enjoy both of those establishments. One does not exclude the other for me or anyone else, IMHO.

I am rather surprised that as an acknowledged ring leader/initiator of the apparently squeeky clean, moderated cloisters over at moremiles, that your FlyerTalk ID at the left of your post labels all the rest of us yokels still here as Morons. Is that kinda language allowed over on moremiles?? Or only when you pop over here to visit? Just wondering.
I use the word
moron on FT, on the "other board" and in my day to day conversations. More often than not to describe myself. And, truth be known, I have that line posted as an inside joke with a fellow FlyerTalker.

And weird you should for some reason post about the Balkan Seafood Restaurant in Sydney as your example. I took Randy Petersen for dinner there, quite literally. Rather Freudian isn't it?
No. You and I exchanged private emails about your dinner with Randy at the Balkan. My archives show that Freud was not part of that email exchange.
And Randy, being a real Gentleman, did not send any opinion whatever to the kitchen about HIS meal. Food for thought, to use a rather apt pun.
To each his own. I dine out frequently and restaurant owners/chefs are usually very open to my polite critisisms. Taken in context, constructive criticisms often lead to improvement. They also enjoy my praise as well. Nice to hear when you're doing something appreciated as well, eh?
