Good point PG. So far, most of the very limited "moderation" activity on FT has been to close down threads that have gone over the line. The posts themselves are most often not edited or deleted, and anyone can still read the offending threads and posts in their original form. People can always dredge them up and post links to these old topics.

In the absence of policy and/or enforcement of policy, simply closing down threads is insufficient in my opinion.
