Put this issue into perspective. Just take a step back and think about why this whole thing happened.

You'll realize that NJDavid didn't just state his opinion and get on with it, like many of those coming to his defense and exhorting us all to "just move on."

No, instead, NJDavid constantly repeated his mantra of "Deny," "Deny," "Deny," carrying on even after people had politely and just as repeatedly asked him to cut down on the noise he was generating. But no, NJDavid felt he was in the right to carry on and on. Fine. And so he did, in the spirit of dialogue.

So now, a few months later, following the spectacular failure of his "Deny" motion, folks who were fed up with NJDavid's antics have come back out of the woodwork to pay NJDavid the homage that he himself paid others by ignoring their requests to cool it with that "Deny" BS.

Isn't this just demonstration of the simple phenomenon of life summarized by the statement, "What goes around, comes around?" By sheer virtue of the existence of this bulletin board, there happen to be people who are not only passionate, but in fact fanatic, about air travel and the companies that serve it. Just as NJDavid was a zealot for bashing CO, there are those who just as zealously find any affront to CO to be highly insulting and offensive.

What gives NJDavid the right to bash CO without expecting himself some form of repercussion for it?

What NJDavid has done is akin to a Red Sox fan going to a Yankees game and yelling out, "Yankees Suck," "New York Sucks," etc., every chance he can get. What the hell do you expect to happen? Sure, we can all just ignore the idiot during the ball game, even just quietly walk away from him after it. But you know what? There are just enough hooligans and cretins in this world - with whom you share your holier-than-thou selves - who just might care to give a piece of their minds, or even take a few figurative swings, at that ... in the bleachers who asked for it.

Immature, unsophisticated, insane, or however you want to characterize this behavior, it's here and it's real. OK, so you're all good little boys and girls for listening to your mommies. I hope you got lots for your Montessori programs. I guess you're all just better than me, then.
