This is a long standing debate. Just as with money, which also devalues over time; some folks are savers, some are spenders, some do both. There’s nothing wrong with saving for something really special or for an emergency (last minute airline ticket) or for a rainy day.
^ Well put, I like to use mine and have enough left for an emergency. But to each there own. Good luck which ever way you do it.
