Marked difference in F Lounge treatment

Am OWE and over the past fortnight have flown to Hong Kong, London and Shanghai flying Qantas business and lastly Dragonair.

The difference between treatment at the BA F lounge in Qantas and Cathay in HKG and Aust is amazing. In the latter cases the lounge agent and staff couldn't do enough to welcome and assist my wife and I with our 4 year old and 10 month old. This includes both QF and CX F lounges where u was on Dragon and the rest of the family on QF to Australia.

BA at T3 LHR was a different matter. 4 year old was considered a guest and as I am only permitted 1 guest had to use the business lounge or leave the spouse or 4 year old outside.

I my opinion this is extremely poor form. The whole family are seasoned travellers and wife and son OWS so it's not as if he would run a muck.

Simply told once over 2 children are considered a guest by BA.

That's my rant. Anyone experienced same?
