I called but they were not too helpful, saying I could only make stopovers in Europe as that is the transit point they were offering to DEL.

Could I possibly request to be routed over the Pacific as long as the connection is <24 hours eg YWG-YVR-HKG-DEL, then be eligible to use my stopovers in Asia?

Another idea I had was something like YWG-YVR-SFO-FRA-DEL then DEL-FRA-LAX (stopover) LAX-YYZ-YWG. Would this be eligible while still using only 150000 miles?

Of course, I am really looking to maximize my long haul flights and in the air time so I don't much care where my stopovers are. However your suggestions for routings would really help for the next time I call!
