Please list your AP Taxes and SURCHARGES on AP reward tickets

I would appreciate AP Members input on how much they paid for there AP reward tickets in fees and SURCHARGES.. Please list the routing, the airlines flown or to be flown and class of service and how many points the reward cost...I paid $31.50 AP service fee plus $32.75 in taxes for a grand total of $64.25.... Routing is : YVR-SEOUL-SIN-SYD-SIN-BKK-SEOUL- YVR..... SYD is my point of turnaround.... and my SIN-SYD leg shows 77W All flights are on SQ except BKK-SEOUL is on TG. All flights are in BIZ Class and cost 100,000 miles..

There was a small thread last year - Anyway mine cost alot more than yourself.

FYI if your doing some PM's from the MRF id would appreciate to be included

What is the highest tax/surcharge amount you have paid?

Montreal Trudeau (YUL)Toronto Pearson (YYZ) - AC
Toronto Pearson (YYZ)Frankfurt (FRA) -AC
Frankfurt (FRA)Barcelona (BCN)- LH
Barcelona (BCN)Frankfurt (FRA)-LH
Frankfurt (FRA)Ottawa (YOW)-AC
Ottawa (YOW)Montreal Trudeau (YUL)-AC

Canada Security Charge (CA)Canada Goods and Services Tax (GST/HST #10009-2287) (XG)Combined Taxes (XT)17.001.40

Combined Taxes (XT)-$458.18 PP

So $900.00 for 2 business rewards; I just wasn't able to find any availability without AC on short notice.

$93.75 per ticket for four YYZ-CUN in July. This is much better than the $250 per ticket I paid in the fall.

Same for me! And the taxes charged actually match up to those on a revenue ticket.

My Aeroplan ticket:
Canada Security Charge (CA) .................................................. .....17.00
Canada Goods and Services Tax .................................................. ..1.00
Combined taxes, fees, charges and surcharges for Classic Flight .......... 75.00
Total .................................................. ..................................... 93.00

Sample revenue ticket:
Taxes, Fees and Charges
Canada Airport Improvement Fee SQ ..............................................20.0 0
Air Travellers Security Charge (ATSC) CA ....................................... 17.00
Mexico Intl. Arpt. Departure Tax XD ............................................... 31.08
Canada Goods and Services Tax (GST/HST #10009-2287 RT0001) XG .. 1.00
Mexico Tourism Tax UK .................................................. ............ 23.72
Total .................................................. ..................................... 92.80

Stinger, what's different from your fall tickets? Presumably, the all inclusive "combined taxes" amount?

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8900/4.6.1.94 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/107)

YYZ(AC)-CMH
15k points + $150.64 in fees and tax.

The only thing that makes this okay is that this flight is often $600 up to $1500 last minute.

They match up as I don't think YQ (fuel surcharge) is charged on some of the revenue MEX routings/ tickets.

If you fly AC it cost more as they charge fuel charges on rewards where as other partners do not.
