I'm really glad you brought that up. When the Finneran incident happened, I jumped on the bandwagon to ridicule him-- along with most of the nation.

Years later, I felt pretty bad when I learned that his behavior was likely attributable to early onset Alzheimer's.

Since that time, whenever I am tempted to rush to judgement about someone's actions, I think back to that.
