Locked out of united.com
Heading home.. ASE -SFO. Tried to check in with mobile app, no joy, couldn't pull up my reservation to view even. Went to .com, tried to log in and gave me a password error, and then locked me out after three tries (I've had the same PW for months so this was not input error). Phone line clogged so couldn't get an agent, but finally was able to check in using my MP# on the home page (i.e. not logging in). Showed me a Continental number after checking in which is interesting since I never had one and haven't received notification of a new number.
UPDATE: Used my old MP number and hit the Forgot PIN button. Successfully, changed the PIN after a challenge question, and it showed my new number. All seems in order. No miles yet for my 3/3 flight.
