My interesting issue. . .

Sunday flew SYD/LAX/DEN/ATL

SYD check-in was slow and painful with the mostly rental ground staff. But all BP's printed, and flight went off only 20 minutes late. Packed.

When boarding at LAX for DEN, gate agent scanned my BP, computer beeped. She tore the old one, printed a new boarding pass, scanned it, and I boarded the plane.

Someone else in my F seat (int config 777 to DEN for some reason). I looked at my boarding pass, and the GA had reprinted DEN/ATL, not LAX/DEN! And scanned DEN/ATL to let me on! I now had two DEN/ATL BP's, and no LAX/DEN!

Purser looked at the manifest and showed me a different F seat. No dramas.

Also noted the two DEN/ATL BP's showed different mileage between these ports. The SYD-printed BP showed 1195 miles. The LAX reprint showed 1208.

Odd.
