WOW! We're too stupid to travel United

1.We can't log on to the website due to the 28 bit encryption error message
2. All recommended attempts to fix our computer are futile (we should, afterall, be IT wizards to fly. FT bloggers condemn those of us using IE))
3. Telephone calls to UA have yielded a 58 minute wait and we're still on hold
4.Use of another computer reveals:
On our flight this week, we lost our seat assignments
Flight in May is requiring ticket to be reissued
Another flight in May has my daughter's name changed and the infant's name mangled into my daughter's
5. All itineraries have new numbers (how will check in go for those who don't have the new itinerary number?)
6. We've been assigned new mileage plus numbers, but we don't know them and have yet to receive the updated info by mail. How will we check in?
7. We need a PIN to speak to United or use their website, but we don't have it, can't get on the website....
8. We'll be flying blind--no mileage plus number, no PIN, no website access, no seat assignments. We are idiots.
