Looks like legacy airlines reward dead beats that occupy a seat all the time but spend nothing, while booting people that actually spend money but hardly travel. Strange strategy.
+1 - Either hand the perks to those at top tiers or tie tiers to $ spend, not segments & miles. Guy paying full Y deserves the E+ seat before the guy flying 30 segments/year at 10% of full Y.
