I am going to be flying on Air NZ in June in S class for my outbound and return flights, which according to the Continental site, earns 100% of the miles:

However, the ticket mentions the following sentence:
"Eligible for Airpoints Dollars & Status Points accrual; no accrual of frequent flyer miles/points with airline partners".
Do you know which would override the other? Air NZ may mention that I don't earn miles, but if the fare earns miles on CO, would they be obligated to honor it?
