Born and raised in the Bay Area. I saw the latest Oakland fiasco on local TV and had to assure my Chinese friends that SF was safe because we mined the Bay Bridge and will take it out to keep the violence on that side of the Bay.

On a side note, I was at a meeting at the Oakland Marriot two years ago and had a gun stuck in my side one block from the Hotel. Wallet and watch gone. OPD took a report but heard nothing since.
