I've stayed at 8 carlson properties yet. And my favorite ones are the
Radisson Bloomsbury and Park Plaza Riverbank. Both nice rooms. Excellent service and good breakfast. Only Riverbank is harder to reach by tube.
I disliked the May Fair. Rooms are no bigger of better equiped then other properties. I would say even worse. Bathroom is old, rooms are noisy and beds are small. (exept for suits) Only breakfast and service is prety good here
The berkshire has a good location. But rooms are tiny and not up to date.
Radisson edwardian grafton has been in the news even for notorious bad hygiene.
Park plaza sherlock holmes is a nice hotel with very good service, but some ammenities are old. Lifts take ages, breakfast room is small and choice is limited, but I would still say this is a very good hotel and would rank nr 3 of carlson properties.
Radisson Portman is old. Not very friendly staff and rooms are not spectacular. Same for breakfast.
Radisson kenilworth is good. But not as good as the bloomsbury which is right around the corner. Also good location for west end shows.
Mercer street and covent garden should be good as well. But haven't been there yet. Also park plaza county hall should be ok.
If you need any more info on these hotels. Feel free to contact. I've spent 3 years living in these hotels. So I think I know them prety well.
P.S. Sorry for bad writing. Posted via phone
