Throttling is a double edged sword, however.

I have seen some great information posted in various forums where the information is streaming in at a record pace due to a change in some points program. In one instance on the Hilton board, there was an outstanding thread of people posting bits of info. Some of that info would have not made it to the thread in a timely manner had the throttling been in place mostly because it was the same 2-4 people who were doing the research and legwork and posting the info as fast as they got it.

I don't want to limit great discussions and information sharing like that because someone is concerned someone in OMNI might be padding.
