Yet, if I go to Emirates it shows F as being sold out. Expedia/Orbitz shows nothing. I called the Emirates "Gold Desk" and they told me that F is sold out as well. So, I was only able to book a J ticket.

Is it typical that KVS/Sabre disagree with Emirates?
2 problems here

1. EK changes availability based on point of sale. As far as I know, KVS shows point of sale from the USA. However, when buying a ticket from CMB, the flight probably shows F0 A0.

Now... the normal solution would be to go to expedia.com and buy the ticket there with a US point of sale and everyone would be happy. But...

2. The F class CMB-MLE ticket has a SITI restriction which means tickets can only be sold and ticketed in the origin country (i.e Sri Lanka.)

[Sales Restrictions]
SITI TRANSACTIONS PERMITTED. SOTO/SITO/SOTI
TRANSACTIONS NOT PERMITTED.
