There were some alternative designs knocking about on this board that were miles (or is that avios) ahead:

I took the plane pictues from BA.com and could make the designs look better but I'm too tired.

I think BA missed a trick not putting their name/logo on the card - and I they could have had some more common elements between the cards - such as text positioning, capitalisation, style. As others have said they look cheap, and it is not ideal having to explain to a lounge dragon which airline the card is from.

I've only just got my renewal silver card so have had not experience of the writing rubbing off - but I guess that is still to come...

I haven't bothered to replace my luggage tags with the new version.
